About Us

BSA is a company dedicated to teaching and training skateboarders at all levels.

The Brazilian Skateboard Academy was created in 2023 to provide anyone with positive skateboarding experiences. We are a company that teaches and trains skateboarders in all categories, from street to park, to vertical.

• Our academic board is comprised of health experts, such as physical educators, coaches, physiotherapists, and nutritionists, who work with skateboarding professionals to achieve optimal results for beginners, adults, and those with special needs.

MISSION

To provide the best instruction through the program created by the BSA team using the fully developed Brazilian methodology, including techniques, real-world experiences, science, and technology tools for Brazilian skateboarders, those with special needs, and professional skateboarders in the field who wish to improve their knowledge and have a successful career in the skateboarding market. We strive to develop in a safe and fun way.

OUR VALUES

Skateboarding is a social networking tool that provides inclusion to those who have never identified with regular sports, in addition to feeling involved in the lifestyle through historical, cultural, and musical experiences. Its practice is recommended for any age. Regular skateboarding will improve your motor coordination, balance, and flexibility, as well as a sense of relief from stress and anxiety. In some cases, it also improves self-confidence and perception during bouts of depression. It is also recommended as a great activity for burning calories.

ABOUT THE CEO

She grew up in Sao Bernardo do Campo, Sao Paulo, and at the age of 4 began practicing ballet. She began skateboarding at 14, which became her second passion.

With a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, since 2005 she has developed projects with public and private schools in SBC, SP, and also in Heliopoles, providing experiences in extreme sports.

With her extensive experience, she developed a methodology for preventing ankle injuries for high-performance athletes, which led to the opportunity to work with athletes and children with special needs in the city of Santa Catarina. She continues to improve her knowledge and never gives up on her dreams.
